A_LM is the natural confluence of two offices operating in complementary fields of design: Laura Lampugnale Architects and OSW Open Source Workshop. A design firm mainly focused on luxury and high-end interiors on one side, a networked research-oriented office on the other, enriched by long-lasting collaborations with international firms in Italy, Uk, and India: Studio Marco Piva, Zaha Hadid Architects, and Urban Frame (Space Matrix Group).

A_LM is a story of friendship, professional, and human redundancy between Laura Lampugnale and Giuseppe Morando, the founding Partners.

Since 2005 they have been collaborating on few projects despite the geographic distance and different paths taken before joining hands and embark on a new journey together.

Their international exposure makes them capable of empathizing and understanding the complexity of operating in different cultures and environments. Their complementary sensitivity, refined across the years, is the foundation of their approach to design. They are truly interested in designing at all scales, in exploring different paths, in offering different perspectives..
